When you pick it up, straight away you know your playing a Martin. About 14 years old (made 1998), I use it every week and it sounds fantastic. It has a Solid Spruce top - which gives a great clarity and projection with Mahogany back and sides. The sound is every bit as you would expect from a quality USA made Martin. (Much, much better than the new models.) It has aged well and sounds better now than it did when new. It has quite low action, set up by me, for picking and strumming it plays superbly. I am a semi-professional player and own several Martin guitars, so I know a good guitar when I hear one. However, time has come to part with one. I will be sorry to see it go.
